About Kinetic Control®
Founded on a simple belief: robust Movement Health is a key component of a healthy, happy life — and clinicians deserve a rigorous, systematic model to help their patients achieve it.
Assess. Retrain. Empower.
Movement is influenced by pain, injury and fatigue. Kinetic Control takes a patient-centred approach that investigates the underlying cause of movement dysfunction, rather than treating symptoms in isolation.
Since 1995
Kinetic Control was originally founded in 1995 by Mark Comerford and Dr Sarah Mottram, with a goal of bringing Movement Health and excellence to the movement community through carefully crafted education. In 2016, Kinetic Control joined the Comera Group, extending its international reach and delivery capability. Since 2020, Kinetic Control has incorporated online and hybrid learning alongside face-to-face training, and Kinetic Control courses are now taught in over 30 countries.
Kinetic Control is one of the education products developed under Comera Movement Science, alongside sibling products for practitioners and performance teams. This site covers Kinetic Control only — the clinician education and KCMT/KCAT certification pathway.
We can't achieve our goals alone, which is why we rely on our international team of tutors, clinicians and specialists to teach our methods, challenge the status quo, and promote our ‘movement matters’ message.
