Asmaa earned her Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from the Faculty of Physical Therapy, Cairo University in 2021, and she is currently a PhD student at the same faculty.
She holds a senior physiotherapist position and serves as a clinical supervisor for internship trainees at Cairo University Teaching Hospital — guiding, mentoring, and supporting them throughout their clinical rotations. She has worked as an MSK and intensive care physiotherapist for more than 12 years.
Driven by her passion for teaching, Asmaa began her teaching journey with Primephysio in 2015, where she shadowed leading tutors in orthopedic manual therapy, Bobath, sports physical therapy, and OMTC programs.
Over the years, she became a co-tutor in several OMTC courses and now teaches dry needling and soft-tissue integrated management programs nationally and internationally as a main tutor.
Asmaa is a board member of the Orthopedic Manual Therapy Academy and the Primephysio Dry Needling Institute, contributing actively to curriculum development and professional education. She is also a member of the organising committee for the Middle East Manual Therapy Congress held annually by the Orthopedic Manual Therapy Academy.
As a Kinetic Control tutor, Asmaa believes that the Kinetic Control approach fills essential clinical gaps and optimises her clinical reasoning and patient management. She is committed to sharing — nationally and internationally — the knowledge of assessing and treating the body as an integrated movement system, as embraced by the Kinetic Control framework.
This system offers clinicians reliable assessment tools and a pathway to personalised, effective, and efficient treatment.
