She champions the importance of movement retraining in a clinical reasoning framework and believes this sets physiotherapists apart from other health professionals. Movement is the key to the future development of physiotherapy — looking at movement has added a new dimension to managing musculoskeletal disorders.
Camilla completed her undergraduate training at the Universidad Mayor in Santiago, Chile and later completed her postgraduate degree in Orthopaedic Manual Therapy, also in Santiago. She works with people with musculoskeletal disorders, and is currently working for a private clinic in Santiago while teaching undergraduate classes in Physiotherapy. She has trained in several Manual Therapy techniques and Pilates, and has worked with Motor Control since 2011.
